Exciting Consultant Urology Opportunity – Southwest Region

We are currently recruiting for a 12-month full-time Consultant Urologist position within a progressive and friendly department focused on enhancing and developing Urology services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to service development while delivering high-quality specialist care.



➡️ The Role:

✔️Outpatient clinics
✔️Outpatient procedures (including LA flexi Botox and TULA)
✔️Emergency and elective theatre work
✔️Attendance at Urology MDTs
✔️Supporting and developing specialist nursing teams
✔️The post is a 10 PA job plan, contributing to a 1 in 7 on-call rota.



On average:
8.5 PAs Direct Clinical Care (including on-call & admin)
1.5 PAs Supporting Professional Activities



➡️ Essential Criteria:

• On the Urology Specialist Register

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise

• Consultant-level experience in Urology

• Strong clinical judgement and analytical approach

• Experience in risk management and prioritisation

• Up-to-date evidence-based practice

➡️ 💰 Salary: £109,725 – £145,478 gross/ year
