➡️ Salary: € 68,000 - € 77,968 per annum
Job Title: Emergency Medicine SHO/Registrar
Location: Ireland
Position Type: Full-time
➡️ Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine SHO/ Registrar to join the team
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated medical professional looking to advance their career in a dynamic teaching environment.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care while contributing to the education and training of junior medical staff.
➡️ Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and manage inpatient and outpatient care under the supervision of senior consultants.
- Participate actively in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure effective and coordinated patient management.
- Perform diagnostic investigations and interpret results, developing timely and appropriate treatment plans.
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff, including interns and residents, while fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Engage in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Contribute to the education of medical students and junior doctors through lectures, tutorials, and hands-on training.
- Participate in on-call duties as required as part of the registrar rota.
➡️ Qualifications:
-Medical degree (MB BCh BAO or equivalent)
- registration with the Medical Council of Ireland (IMC) or in process
- Fluent in English language
- Previous experience in internal medicine or a relevant specialty is preferred.
- Irish/ UK experience - advantage
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.
